FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Piano Tuning is usually a flat rate. Restoration, Repairs, Cleaning, and other additional services can cost extra depending on what is specifically required to get your instrument playing the best it possibly can.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Fast and courteous service to all areas.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Previous work experience under Green Music, Piano Outlet, Bob Weller, Russell Berkley and Schroder Piano.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work? I did an apprenticeship under Bob Weller. During my apprenticeship I was taught the art of piano tuning and repair. After some time I was sent out into the field with what I had learned, told that if I ever ran into anything I could not fix on my own, that I could call other technicians to come help, until one day, they said “You will have seen everything”. The rest as they say is history.
  • What types of customers have you worked with? I have worked with many customers over the years. I’ve tuned piano’s for recording studios, play houses, schools, churches, concerts, cultural centers, retirement homes, piano stores, countless piano’s in customers personal residences and much more. Wherever that piano is, that’s where I’m going.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take? Generally each piano tuning is its own reward. A tuning usually takes about 2 hours.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? Do your research. Be careful. Don’t settle, You really do get what you pay for.
  • Do you play piano / Are you in a band? I play piano and guitar, but I’m mostly focused on music production now. Check out my music here.
  • What forms of payment do you accept? Cash, Check, Venmo, CashApp or PayPal.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project? Each job is so unique. Please see my reviews and feel free to reach out with any questions.
